Hip-hop icon Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent is now having his day. The town of Hartford, Connecticut simply celebrated its fiftieth anniversary and can now have a good time it every year on August eleventh.

50 Cent receives a milestone honor from the state’s Governor, Ned Lamont. Fifty lived for a few years in Mike Tyson’s 52-room former mansion in Connecticut. He ultimately bought the mansion in 2019 for $3 million.

“In honor of fifty Cent’s efficiency on the Xfnity Theater. I hereby declare Connecticut 50 Cent Day. Possibly we will persuade him to maneuver again to Connecticut,” the governor stated in a social media put up.
